How does Kate keep her eyebrows plucked?
A couple of weeks ago, I was visiting my aunt, who is not a fan of Lost. I made her watch it anyway. When I asked why she didn't like it, her major complaints were things like: why hasn't Hurley lost more weight. I admit I've wondered the same thing, on occasion, but they explained that partially with the food from the hatch, and I was surprised during one of the early episodes this season to find out how few days they've actually been on the island. (42? Can't remember, but it was fewer than I thought.) And really, worrying about those kind of details misses the point and the fun of Lost in my opinion.
Still...watching it tonight I had to wonder... How does Kate keep her armpits so hairfree? Her eyebrows so nicely plucked?
Hmmmm.....

I don't watch it either. I'm more of a Criminal Minds girl. I love the character interactions as they try and catch the killer. I've heard a lot of people aren't too happy with Lost this season.
In spite of all the dropped story lines and strange stuff... I'm still a fan of Lost. Can't help it. I think part of it is my passion for strange structures as i blogged about on drunk writer talk... I love how they keep using flashbacks to deepen the tension in the present.
But there are SO many subplots they seem to have dropped... But just when I think "the writers have totally forgotten about that" they bring that story or idea back in again... don't know if they've got it planned or not, but I'm still interested.
They did show Jack shaving once with stuff from people's luggage from the plane. She also could have had her hair lasered off in the past. I noticed the very same thing. But the most important thing on my mind last night was... Geesh, when was the last time they had a shower or brushed their teeth? And they're doing that?
But it was still hot. *g*
Lack of hair removal was also at the root of the fall of the Roman Empire. I heard that somewhere.
Maureen-
You blog so much about film and television. Seriously - have you ever thought of writing a script? It seems natural to me...
