The Bachelorette: Quest for a Greencard

The nice Canadian girl is the new bachelorette? And she's going to have 25 hunky guys going after her? Okay, so how am I going to resist that?

I will.

I will stay strong.

I will not watch the very appealing Jillian just for another chance to hear her talk about the Ogopogo living in Lake Okanagan. I will not.

(Even to find out if she gets a green card as part of the deal.)

You know you will.

I know, I know. I may have to relent. I think I like the Bachelorette better than the Bachelor because most men can handle themselves better. And I really liked this woman.

Here's the thing. I really really liked hot dog girl. She was way too classy for Jason. I must relent and watch, because really, the beefcake will be worth it;)

Oh, dear. I like the nice, Canadian girl. She seems so real and genuine. I hope this show doesn't ruin her...

Maria and Kristen.. You are so right. Chances are, I will not be able to resist watching this.

Jillian was cool, and has the right kind of personality to have fun on the show... And the beefcake factor on The Bachelorette is always eye-popping...

You are so watching. You know you are. We all know we are.

Okay, I'll watch for you. I love Jillian, and I've spent many a day on Okanagan Lake. How can I resist?

BTW, let me just say I've never heard anyone call that lake, Lake Okanagan. Even though it's the official name. We call it Okanagan Lake.

There's a Lake Okanagan resort. That's the only time I've heard it called that. But it's a very big lake, and maybe I just live in the wrong area.

Gad, I can't make myself clear. Maureen, I meant to say, until Jillian called it Lake Okanagan, I hadn't heard it referred to by that name.

LOL. Cindy.

I have no idea what Jillian called it... I have a late auntie who used to live in Penticton... And went there as a kid with my grandparents who lived in White Rock, so I know the lake, but I probably typed Lake Okanagan because of Lake Ontario :-) I at least looked up the spelling of Okagagan. I would've used more "o"s in place of a few "a"s.

She's not really from there either, right? If memory serves she grew up in northern Alberta and now lives in Vancouver. So, probably why she made the same mistake I did. Not a local.

Life is too short to concern yourself with this, Maureen.

I'll watch if you do.

LOL, Barrie. I know I won't be able to resist this one. She's Canadian!

Blogger ate my comment from several days back. Grr.

I don't watch The Bachelor, but your rant was pure entertainment :)
