Maureen is happy...

What is making Maureen happy? Her TIFF pick envelope ended up in box 70 of 75 and the number drawn out of the hat (well, box) was 66. That means she has a better than fighting chance of getting all her first choice movies. Yippee! Let's hope she didn't make too many mistakes on her selection form at 4:00 am this morning...

Awesome!

Thus far, only going to my annual gala. This one is that Jane Austen Book Club flick.

Why, oh, why are we having our all day writers meeting during film fest?

I'm trying to hide my overwhelming jealousy that you get to go and I don't..

As usual I will lap up all your recounts of your experiences and dream of the day when I have the time and money to go.

I got my list of films yesterday afternoon. They are getting fast! I haven't checked it in detail yet, but it looks like I got all my first choices, including Fugitive Pieces on opening night. The first time I've got a ticket for the opening night film. Yippee! I LOVED that book. Hope I like the movie, too.

Yay, you! The fam's doing our regular go-to-Yorkville-to-see-the-stars-and-then-line-up-for-rush-seats thing...we just have to figure out when we can all go (looks like the 15th, as ridiculous as that sounds!) and what movie we can all agree on. I'm counting on your blog posts to keep me up to speed in the meantime!

P.S. Why couldn't I get through Fugitive Pieces?
